Now I can feel it clearly ... the days are getting longer .... but the night is still longer than the day. .. At Imbolc . I celebrate the start of the nearby spring ... because the new life still rests in the bosom of Mother Earth is beginning to show already ... but ....
The seeds of last year slumber, so to speak in the belly of the earth .... to begin to grow within. You see them yet, but they are there and begin their growth up to the light.
On my morning walk through my garden I discovered the first tips of snowdrops .... they peep out of the frozen earth. It's still very cold but dry ... which makes hoping for a nice walk.
Together with my four-legged companion we walk through the adjacent forest ... past frost covered lawns ... and again into a forest. Even the songs of birds flock announce the early spring. Here and there, in hazelnut can already see it .... the first Haselnußblüten hanging now sulfur-yellow than in many kittens and hazelnut. This time, I love to walk in the woods ... although I am by the barking of my companion back and will again be asked to play with him ... it is extremely quiet here ... no man is so early.
After an hour but then I'm chilled to the bone very slowly ... and we go back again. Looking at my clock tells me that I should look after our breakfast together.
The coming days are all about the preparations for the Imbolcfest.
